Do Solar
with the
Due Brothers

San Diego’s local solar panel installers. We serve the people of San Diego County with fair prices and quality work.

Up until now, there have been two types of solar installers in San Diego County…

The budget boys

Their prices

Budget installers have those too-good-to-be-true prices. That’s how they get your attention. But, like with anything in life, you get what you pay for. They are able to keep their prices low because they have temporary crews, they might cut a corner here and there and they work basically to survive.

Their process

They didn’t get into the Solar game because they have a passion for helping people or doing good by the planet. They just saw a booming industry and a quick way to make a buck. They may or may not know what they are doing. Going with a budget installer is always a gamble.

Their result

The truth is, if you hire one of these Companies, you’re more than likely going to be calling someone like us to fix it later, which means spending more anyway.

The Big Corporate Players

Their prices

These are the big brand name installers. Their ads are all over TV, radio, in print and they creepily follow you around the internet. They know what they’re doing and they will likely perform your installation well, but it will cost you. These big brand name installers are not cheap and you’ll realize that once you see the bill with all its hidden fees.

Their process

The reason the prices are so high isn’t because the quality is necessarily better, it’s because you’re paying for a lot more than just Solar panels. In addition to funding their huge marketing budgets, you also pay for the enormous bureaucracy that goes into running one of these major Companies. All that paperwork and all those employees that process the paperwork cost the company a lot and that cost is passed onto you, the customer. Also, a lot of times, those big Companies with the big brand names outsource the installation work to smaller Companies.

Their result

Most likely a well done job, but you will wind up paying much more for it than you should because you’re paying for a lot more than just the Solar installation.

So, we lied a little bit when we said there were two types of solar installers in San Diego County. There are actually three.

That third group is pretty small, though. In fact, we’re the only company in it. We are right in that sweet spot between the other two groups. Our prices aren’t the lowest you are going to find, but they reflect the quality you can expect from us.

Let Us Know Your Solar Goals.

All you have to do to start the process of saving money on your electricity bill and boosting the value of your home or business is to contact us for a free estimate.

We will come to your place, shake your hand, pet your dog, scratch your cat’s chin and have a chat with you. It’s not just about looking at the house. We want to get to know you and what you want to accomplish by going Solar.

Are you planning to sell your home soon and Solar is more of an investment to boost the value?

Are you a straight up tree hugger who is doing this for the planet? (We love tree huggers, by the way.)

We don’t employ temporary laborers or summer students and we don’t have numerous crews on jobs all over the county who we can’t keep an eye on. We are a single crew who has been working together for over a decade and who takes great pride in our work. Unlike other companies, we didn’t just spot a booming market and jump in. We’ve been installing Solar panels on houses since before it was cool. Solar installation hipsters, if you will.

On the other hand, our prices are also not as extravagant as the big brand name installers because we don’t have huge marketing budgets and a massive bureaucracy to maintain. You won’t see us on TV or hear us on the radio and our ads definitely won’t follow you around as you browse. (At least we hope not. Online ads sometimes have a mind of their own.)

We get the vast majority of our business from satisfied customers telling their friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances and sometimes total strangers about the quality of our work, the character of our crew and the integrity of how we do business.

Also, we are your local Solar panel installer. We are your neighbors. Our kids go to the same school as your kids. Hiring us is the equivalent of bypassing the big fast food taco chain and getting your tacos at that great little independent taco place that only the locals know about.

We’re your friendly neighborhood Solar panel installation Company and nothing makes us prouder than serving the people of San Diego County. If you need Solar panels, we are your local go-to installers.

Solar panel installation in San Diego is more than just about saving money and adding value to your home

(although it’s about those things, too)

It’s about doing the right thing and taking advantage of a renewable, reliable energy source that helps ensure there will be a future San Diego to enjoy.

California, as you are well aware, is one of the sunniest places in the United States. It’s probably one of the things that you love most about this place. If we don’t use that sunshine to our advantage, we’re not living the best lives we can.

By getting a quality Solar panel installation on your San Diego home, you will be able to harness that free source of energy. We encourage you to study up on Solar energy to find out the science behind it. It’s really interesting. We promise.

But, this isn’t a science website, so we won’t get into the complexities of photons and electrons here. What we will tell you is that your panels collect energy from the sun, process that energy into usable electricity and then channel that electricity into your home. San Diego, in particular, is so sunny, that you will likely get even more energy than you can use. It’s that efficient.

Your neighbors are getting Solar (seriously, just look around at your street), local businesses are going Solar and pretty soon instead of only seeing the odd house here and there with Solar panels, it will be the opposite and the majority of homes will have solar panels and only the odd house here and there won’t have them.

Wouldn’t you rather be one of those houses that do have them? Think of them like a badge of honor that says: “Our Solar panel installation means we are smart enough to take advantage of the free, abundant energy source that living in San Diego provides for us and we are doing our part for the future of the planet.”

Welcome to the sweet spot. We think you’ll find what you’re looking for
